‘Women are fascinating, and beautiful in every possible way. These shoots are about celebrating women in their own unique ways.’

As their name suggests, Orthodox Jews strictly follow their faith. The close-knit community tends to keep to itself, and as with many religious groups, the women are expected to dress and act modestly. So it’s somewhat surprising that, as reported by the New York Post, sexy boudoir photo shoots have become all the rage among Orthodox Jewish women living in New York.

30-year-old mother-of-four Lea (who asked for her surname to be withheld) runs the New York picture studio Follie Boudoir, and she confirmed that bookings from Hasidic Jews (and ultra-religious Orthodox Jewish sect) now make up about 35 per cent of her commissions. Talking about the many different reasons a woman might commission one of her sexy boudoir shoots, Lea told Metro.co.uk: ‘Women who have had children sometimes feel that their body is limited to child rearing, making them feel less attractive. I want to keep the spark alive in their marriages and in their personal self-esteem by highlighting their unique beauty.’

She went on: ‘Some women who are still waiting for the miracle of children see their bodies as having failed them. So I want to remind them of their attractiveness and help them to celebrate their beauty.’

So go ahead girl! Release your chains and took a sexy underwear photo shoot! I will maybe do it one for myself soon.
